2021 Berlinale talents alumni Eliane, is an award-winning Rwandan actress based in France.

Accountant by training, she started her acting career with Rwanda's theatre companies and trained inTunisia at the El-hamra theatre.

Her international breakthrough role in "Birds Are Singing in Kigali" won her Best Actress Awards at prestigious festivals such as the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the Chicago International Film Festival, the Polish Film Festival, the New York Polish Film festival, the Let's CEE International film festival and the mastercard rising star award at the Netia OFF independent film festival .

She is starring in the lead role of the hollywood indie drama "Trees of peace" which is premiering at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

And will be next starring in the upcoming sci-fi "Neptune Frost" directed by Saul Williams.

She is interested, drama, historical and psychological drama, sci-fiction/fantasy, romantic and dark comedy.

Biography

Rachel is a recent graduate from The Three Year Bachelor in Acting (Hons) Course at The Lir Academy (2022). Originally from California, she is currently based in Dublin and has bases in Los Angeles and New York.

Some of her recent Lir credits include the role of Fran in Miriam Battye’s SCENES WITH GIRLS directed by Ursula McGinn, Isabella in MEASURE FOR MEASURE directed by Joe Dowling, several characters including Reggie Fluty, Romaine Patterson, Rebecca Hilliker in Moises Kaufman’s THE LARAMIE PROJECT directed by Davey Kelleher, Anfisa in Chekov's THREE SISTERS directed by Marc Atkinson Borrull, and Mrs Webb in Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN directed by Wayne Jordan.

Before training, Rachel played Lucy Steele in SENSE AND SENSIBILITY directed by Casey Stangl at South Coast Repertory.

Esther Ayo-James

Esther Ayo-James was most recently seen as Sally in 'Wallpaper'. Her performance earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Short Film at the Richard Harris international Film festival; and an award win for Breakout Star at the Dublin International Comedy Film Festival. She previously played the role of Sarah (and multiple other roles) in the original play 'Vessel', and has worked on commercials for Now TV, Irish Life and Free Now.

Esther was born in Nigerian and grew up in Cork. She trained full time at Bow Street Academy under prominent acting coach Gerry Grennell and Director Shimmy Marcus. She trained in The Gaiety School of Acting prior to that, and has also trained with Identity School of acting and Helena Walsh since. She enjoys reading and hiking and writing poetry.

Elaine is a screen and stage actress, a native of Dublin. She has been working on a feature and short films including Michael Inside, the award-winning film written and directed by Frank Berry. Elaine also appears in a number of commercials, including the new RAS campaign.

Once a month she can be seen performing on stage in let's Make A Scene, at Momentum
Acting Studio, where she presents a number of different scenes. She has trained with several facilitators over the years, most recently completed the two-year training programme (Meisner Technique) with Momentum Acting Studio in Dublin. She still uses the space to develop her own work between projects.

Elaine is currently working on The Great War, a stage play by Neil LaBute which will run in
2019.

Biography

Anja is a Korean-German actress based in Berlin, raised in Germany.

She was trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in NYC and made it to Robert Castle´s Advanced class within a few months. Before that, she studied at the Stage and Musical School in Germany and after coming back she went on training at the AICOM in Paris.

Since then she appeared in TV, Film and on stage, notably as the antagonist of the German star Eva Mattes in the play „Liv Stein“.

Anja s love for music shows in her choice of roles- currently she is playing the German „Nannerl“- Mozarts forgotten genius sister- in the solo-performance „The Other Mozart“ by Sylvia Milo, an award-winning Off-Broadway play for which she was trained by the creative team in NYC.

Biography

Fanny Guidecoq spent part of her childhood in Morocco and Hungary. Back to France, she starts graduate studies, which enabled her to go back abroad and train in theatrical practice. First at DAMS in Bologna, then at the Beckett Theatre at Trinity College in Dublin, before returning to France, first to Paris and then to Lyon, to complete her training at the National school of music , danse and drama.

She now alternates between roles/parts for the television , the cinema as well as in advertising. She also regularly plays parts in international short films.

Alessandra Diaz is a Filipina actress raised in Ireland. She is Based in Dublin.

She was most recently seen in ‘Mattress Mick: The Musical’ where she was part of the ensemble. Other works that she can also be seen in is ‘Baths’ directed by Nell Hensey.

She trained in Liberties college for two years where she mostly trained in theatre under tutors such as Brian Daly and Simon Manahan. Here she developed her movement and voice while delving into other methods of acting. After, she trained part time in Bow Street Academy under the well known figures of Gerry Grennell and Artistic Director Shimmy Marcus.

Originally from Hong Kong, grew up in Macau, living in France for 6 years, Sheila is currently based in Amsterdam. She enjoys singing, writing and film making. She is currently in post-production on a short film she wrote and helped to work on.

Under her production company, Ashionye has written, produced & featured in her feature film productions, the multi-award winning ‘Journey to Self’, and ‘Public Property’. Georgia is an Italian-Argentinian screen and stage actress.

She speaks fluently English, French, Spanish and Italian, and can perform in each of these languages.

She has been working internationally on features and short films as well as TV series. In the english indie movie "Behave", Georgia played the lead role and she was nominated as "best ensemble cast" at the Skyptown Playhouse festival in Los Angeles in 2023.

Georgia studied Meisner and Strasberg techniques in Rome and she is always training with actor and coach David Gwillim in London.

She is also a writer and she is currently working on the screenplay of an horror movie to be shot in England next summer. She is currently based between Rome and London.
