Makrià Midèn is an actor and theatre maker who trained at the Gaiety School of Acting. He has also participated in workshops held by artists such as Euripides Laskaridis and David Glass.

He has appeared in various productions, including theatre, short films, radio plays, TV series and other artistic projects. He has presented two original plays, “Euripide” and “Oreste”, in Italy and Ireland.

Makrià loves to explore and research what theatre is and can bring to both audiences and performers alike. He is particularly interested in physical, experimental theatre. He believes in a sensorial theatre, where text and meaning are not the main concern, but he enjoys working on all kinds of projects, contaminating and evolving his style with the new experiences he makes.

He is fluent in English and Italian, competent in Greek. He does capoeira, sings, plays the Jew’s harp, writes for the stage and is currently training to become a professional voice actor as well. Finally, he is trained in stage combat, both armed and unarmed.
