Mayalani Moes is a Luxembourgish and Portuguese actress.
She started her career in theatre when she went to the University of Dundee in 2014. She then appeared in numerous short films before she decided to study acting at the prestigious acting school ‘Giles Foreman Centre for Acting’ where she was trained by renowned teachers such as Giles Foreman, Janet Amsden, Liana Nyquist and many more.
She is one of the founders of the theatre company ‘Collateral Drama’ in Luxembourg, that solely performs plays in English.
Mayalani recently appeared in award-winning films such ‘ON IN 15’ directed by Joe Archer. In November, she also attended the world premiere of ‘Manhunt’ directed by Charles Solly in which she has a pivotal role. She also embodied the role of Katarina in the play ‘Demons’ written by Lars Noren directed by Althyr Pivatto which was the most challenging role she’s had to face thus far - but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Mayalani is currently preparing for her role in the plays ‘How to get rich in Luxembourg. (Fast)’ directed by Rafael David Kohn.
Because of her multilingual skill: English, German, French, Luxembourgish and basic Portuguese, she has the possibility to act in all four languages fluently. As she has a base in London, Luxembourg and Lisbon it’s incredibly easy for her to travel to various locations for projects.
